Iyar 26 Appeal – Inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe's Hayom Yom

Iyar26.com Appeal is a petition to support Love thy Neighbor and Don’t rebuke in Hate. By signing the petition to uphold the precept of Lubavitche Rebbe’s teaching in his Iyar 26 Hayom Yom you make a commitment to practice the Iyar26’s message and you open yourself to Hashem’s presence and blessing, reduce judgment around you, and thereby change the world.

Iyar 26 Hayom Yom: The command “You shall rebuke” is preceded by the words “You shall not hate your brother,” for this is a precondition for the rebuke. The Torah continues, “…and you shall not ascribe sin to him,” for if the rebuke was ineffectual, you are certainly the one responsible, for yours were not words coming from the heart.

Please make a commitment to acceptance of this amazing Hayom Yom from the Rebbe and think of how you can introduce this in your life when you react to people in person or in conversation about others, in thought, speech, and deed (“garments of the soul”).

Some sincere feedback I have received from people and they realize the challenges and difficulties to be proactive and adhere to this Torah Mitzvah in their daily routine because of their constant toils with others. I provide a simple suggestion and exercise to demonstrate how this be achieved. Think of an amazing physical expression of the divine presence of the Shekinah during a Torah minyan. Then enact the precepts of the Hayom Yom... Iyar 26… provide mercy to people with the knowledge that without them, you could not succeed with a Torah minyan if you were one person short. Repeat the precepts of the Rebbe’s Hayom Yom... Iyar 26 with each instance or need. I believe this is important because: “If ten people sit together and engage in the study of the Torah, the Divine Presence (the Shechinah) rests among them”.
